Sediment Vessels, 2026
Sediment is a collection of eight large-scale vessels made from a scagliola-based synthetic stone. Historically primarily used as an applied surface, the material is reconfigured here as a self-supporting structure. Polished exteriors contrast with raw interiors, revealing two distinct states of the same material.
The restrained forms recall fragments of architecture—walls, corners and structural elements. Their scale and presence expand the vessel beyond its conventional typology into an architectural object.
